Young teenagers can also have problems with heavy large breasts. It is sometimes difficult for them to face physical and social challenges that go with having large breasts. Besides the back and shoulder pain, most young girls are very self conscious about their breasts. This is a very nice young teenager who used to wear two sports bra on top of each other to flatten her breasts. She has normal weight and very large breast. At this age, we did not want to burn any bridges and create any scars. We would have been happy with just less projection and one cup size reduction. Liposuction had the advantage of not leaving virtually any scars and help reduce the breasts just about one cup size. Because at this age the skin has great quality and will retract once the breasts are reduced, the final result will be better than in older patients. Breast feeding is not affected by this technique because breast gland and milk ducts are not reduced or cut.
