There are minimal complications with dimple formation aside from a little bit of swelling and bruising for a few days. You should be able to resume your normal activities the following day. The pain is generally manageable with just Tylenol. Immediately after dimple creation surgery, you will need to wait until the numbing wears off before you eat because you may bite your cheek without noticing it. You will need to avoid hot and spicy food for about a week.
