Budgeting for Bust Line Enhancement
No two breast augmentation procedures are the same. The cost of breast augmentation surgery varies based on a number of factors. The type of implant used, the extent of treatment needed, and a host of other variables will determine the total cost. Dr Azita Madjidi takes time with her patients to make certain that they understand every aspect of their surgery, including breast augmentation cost. During a consultation at her Houston office, Dr. Madjidi will explain how the treatments needed to accomplish your goals will influence the total expenses. At the same time, she encourages patients to pursue the results they truly desire, and to never compromise satisfaction for economy. To learn more about the cost of breast augmentation, please contact us today.
Although your initial consultation for plastic surgery (and most of your exams) will occur at our Houston office, Dr. Madjidi does not perform in-office surgery. The hospital chosen as the venue for your surgery will influence the overall cost of your breast augmentation. Other expenses include anesthesia, vitamin supplements to facilitate healing, bandages, lab work, and healing bras. At the end of each consultation, Dr. Madjidi provides patients with an estimate that is valid for six months. Please understand that the itemized fees can increase for reasons beyond our control.
Breast implants are made in a variety of shapes and sizes, and contain either saline or silicone. Each type of implant differs in cost, and the patient’s desired results will determine which implant Dr. Madjidi recommends. For instance, saline implants are typically less expensive than silicone implants, but are more versatile and require a less invasive surgical procedure. Although they are more expensive, many patients believe silicone implants provide a more realistic look and feel. If you are especially thin, or considering breast reconstruction, Dr. Madjidi may recommend gummy bear implants, which also cost more than saline implants. The first step in planning your breast augmentation will be a personal consultation with Dr. Madjidi. She will explain your options, the costs of these options, and how their unique attributes can help you achieve your goals.
Every patient who undergoes breast augmentation will eventually require a breast implant revision. With proper care, implants can last many years, but can eventually rupture. Meanwhile, the natural aging process can cause the breasts to sag, and patients often wish to undergo surgery to restore a youthful bust contour. If you choose to undergo a breast augmentation, you should consider that some degree of breast implant revision will be necessary in the future.
At our practice, your safety will always come first. Dr. Madjidi will perform a comprehensive initial examination, including a review of your medical history and current health status, to determine if you are a good candidate for a breast augmentation. If your case involves special considerations or specific after-care treatments, we will thoroughly explain how they will affect the total cost of your surgery. To learn more about how Dr. Madjidi’s expert care can help you to experience increased self-esteem and more enjoyment in your life, schedule a personal consultation today.
